Entry is open to current legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia. While there are no age restrictions, if the submission comes from a minor, the email address of a parent/legal guardian must be included with the submission.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, please submit a digital copy of your original image (photo or video) showing aapp what the joy of being a pet parent means to you via the direct mail feature on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram to the American Association of Pet Parents (aapp) during the period of April 15 – April 22, 2021. Entries may also be emailed to email@example.com. You must include your full name, email and your pet’s name with your image entry to be eligible. All entries must be received by midnight (CST) on April 22, 2021. Information provided during entry may be used for future communications by aapp. EACH FREE SUBMISSION IS WORTH ONE ENTRY INTO THE PETS ARE JOY 2021 GIVEAWAY. Submissions will be accepted from April 15 until midnight on April 22, 2021 CST. Maximum entries allowed is 5 (five) per email address associated with the submission.
WINNERS and NOTIFICATION OF CHOSEN ENTRANTS
Five winners will be selected by a panel of judges from among all eligible entries received by the deadline. Selected winners will be required to respond within 48 hours of attempted notification. Failure to respond by 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021 will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be chosen from remaining eligible entries. An alternate winner may be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries if selected winner (a) cannot be reached; (b) fails to agree to all terms and conditions set forth by these official rules; or (c) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason. The #PetsAreJoy Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
A box of gourmet popcorn shipped directly to the winners from prize sponsor, Double Good PopCorn following notification/acceptance. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for the prize is available.
FEES AND EXPENSES
Any and all taxes, surcharges, personal expenses, and travel costs incurred in the submission are the responsibility of the entrant.
The odds are dependent on the number of entrants. There is no limit to the number of submissions aapp will accept nationally during the run of the contest.
Once a winner is selected and the prize has been accepted, coordination of the popcorn shipment will be handled by a representative of aapp. Winner agrees to allow use of first name, pet’s name, city, and state to be posted on social media by the American Association of Pet Parents (aapp). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions. All decisions by the American Association of Pet Parents are final and binding. The prizes have been proudly donated to aapp by Double Good Popcorn. All entries have an equal chance of selection.
