Common household items that pose a risk to your pets
In recognition of Poison Prevention Week, it’s a good time for a refresher on common household items that pose a risk to our pets. The American College of Veterinary Pharmacists compiled an impressive resource to share with their clients and larger community of pet parents. Here, you can find a list of common toxins for pets–including food, prescription medications, illicit drugs, alcohol, household products, and plants and herbs. You can also learn whether these substances are harmful to dogs, cats, horses, and other companion animals. This is a must-read for every pet parent.
